Recently, the association La Liga, which currently works with two major categories of Spanish football, announced that the exams will begin to be applied in 42 participating clubs, where five of the athletes tested positive for the results of the new coronavirus.

Even Brazilian defender Renan Lodi, who plays for Atlético de Madrid, was positive in the list of results, however, the athlete is doing well.

Javier Tebas, president of La Liga, says that all the players who were positive are isolated and tests will be offered to the family members.

“We expected between 25 and 30 positives. It was good news for the football industry and Spanish society ”- Said Javier.

Now, the organization intends to resume its activities, with face-to-face training for more than a month with daily games: “Yes, that is the plan. From start to finish, I believe it will be that (35 days). For what we have left to finish, yes, ”said the president.

La Liga's initial plan is to return with the first two divisions of Spanish sport by the 12th of June and have competitions until the 17th of July.

"Nobody knows. It will depend on the possible twists and turns and that everyone complies with the rules. The virus is still around. But if it is possible to return on June 12, the better” - concludes Javier.
