CS: GO: ESL announces Pro League Season 13 teams
This Friday morning, the events organizer, ESL, released the Pro League Season 13 teams. In the announcement, it was clarified that 12 teams are already confirmed while another 12 have been invited / qualified. Therefore, 24 clubs will be present in the ESL Pro League Season 13 competition, which is scheduled to begin the group stage on March 8-29th. The event is scheduled to take place online, however the playoffs and entry phase are scheduled to take place in a studio in Malta.
The twelve clubs that are already confirmed for the event are ESL partners, while ten of the 24 were invited based on the ESL World Ranking. In addition, it served as a base the teams that qualified with a higher score in their respective regions, as in South America. Thus, the ESL Pro League Season 13 will have teams that are within the Top 16, according to the ranking of HLTV .
The distribution of each group will comprise six teams. The clashes will grant teams the seats for the entry phase of ESL Pro League Season 13. One of these phases will feature the first placed teams facing each other to dispute a place in the semifinals. The other teams will go to the playoffs of the round of 16 of the competition.
