This past week, the Black Dragons organization was defeated by the female-only team, Fire Angels, during the First Strike qualifiers. After the defeat, the player "Foox" revolted with the situation and issued pejorative comments against his rival. For this reason, the player "Foox" was dropped from the Black Dragons team.

In one of his broadcasts, "Foox" sparked some sexist comments about being defeated by a team made up of women only, saying: "I'm losing to the Valorant girls doing 14/25. Do you think I'm going to get into that Valorant? F* that ... Losing to women, F* you... ".

Black Dragons itself commented on it, issuing an official note that reported: "This comment goes against all the principles of BD and, therefore, we see no other way than to dismiss him. Unfortunately we know that the only difference between Foox and most of the male players is that he said it live. We hope that this punishment will serve as an example and that, one day, this comment will be an exception. "

This case caught the attention of Riot Games, developer of Valorant, which suspended the player. The company reported in a note that the player had violated the First Strike regulation - in Article 5.3.4 - along with the Valorant Community Code. In this way, "Foox" is suspended from the tournament tryouts.

"We hope that the participants maintain a cordial and respectful behavior both inside and outside the game, and we cannot tolerate any type of discriminatory conduct" - revealed to Riot Games.

Meanwhile, in his defense, "Foox" said that:

"I issued such a comment in the heat of emotion, in the weakness of the fighting, dreamy, struggling and competitive spirit that is in me for what now, I completely regret it and I can't even repeat it. I failed to believe that, making such a comment, everyone who was there would understand my position. It was never about sexism. It was about a loser who doesn't get used to defeats, it could be any team."

“I come to express total rejection in relation to the fact that I made a sexist comment in the face of the defeat we had to Fire Angels team.

Before expressing my opinion in relation to the aforementioned team, I must reaffirm that throughout my youth, I never practiced or compacted with any attitude that has been practiced against women, whether in private life or in their work environment.

I do not think it's necessary here to narrate all the effort and struggle that women have been waging throughout history. The sexist culture rooted in our country has never reflected on me in any way.

Although it is a pleonasm, I challenge anyone in my social environment or who knows me at least to launch at this moment any other attitude that I have practiced or thought that I have transmitted that could be the target of a pre-judgement as malicious and disgusting as what they do now.

I made such a comment in the heat of emotion, in the weakness of the fighting, dreaming, struggling and competitive spirit that is in me for what I now regret completely and I can't even repeat it.

I failed to believe that by making such a comment, everyone who was there would understand my position. It was never about sexism. It was that of a loser who doesn't get used to defeats, it could be any team.

Once again, I ratify here all my sorrow to whomever I have offended, hurt or even disappointed with such a comment. And I reaffirm, whoever is from the truth knows who is from the lie.

I reinforce all the repudiation regarding all those who do not know or minimize the power, competence and feminine battle.

As for the Fire Angels team, I reaffirm that you understand that they are a great team and that your victory was honorable and without any blemish. Victory with a capital V.
