Since March last year, Ultimate did not have a full presence of the public, in view of the restrictions required by the pandemic. Earlier this year, some events were held with a reduced presence of viewers, as was the case in Abu Dhabi, with only 10% of the capacity that the place could hold.

In this one year interval, the UFC did not fail to carry out its fights. The competitions took place without the presence of an audience, usually with Las Vegas as the main stage. But even Abu Dhabi, already mentioned in the article, had a fixed structure set up to host events throughout the season. Dana White was relieved and happy in a published video: “I have been waiting a year for this day to tell you: We are back!”.

In this event, three belts will be up to grab:

Strawweight: Weili Zang will be challenged by Rose Namajunas.
Flyweight: Jessica Bate-Estaca will face Valentina Schevchenko.
Welterweight: Kamaru Usman will seek to keep the belt against Jorge Masvidal.
