Using methods and strategies in Blackjack does not mean that you will win a round, but they serve as a support to give you the greatest possible chance, because the moment you receive your cards and the dealer receives his, a range of possibilities opens up. It is necessary to master as much as possible to leverage your success and reduce possible losses.

The most challenging in this game is to make decisions that require speed, as it is dynamic, and your memory will have to cooperate, reminding you of which method to use in that fraction of seconds when you have to decide. With application, study and practice, this information becomes a little more natural, providing you with greater preparation and security to indicate your choice.

We have taught in the previous articles what it is to double and split in Blackjack, in addition to the meanings of soft and hard hands. We are sure that now you can increase your chances knowing how to apply these strategies. However, we present the basics of them, because, as we said, depending on the cards that are on the table (both yours and the dealer's), a huge number of different possibilities and choices will be opened.

In the tables below you will see advanced strategies when it comes to doubling a bet and splitting a hand. In addition, we will also explain with graphs what attitude to take when you have a smooth hand and a hard hand in the round, making a comparison with the dealer's. Only with these graphics will you level up in this card game, as few players have this knowledge and information.

Advanced strategies for when you receive a “soft / smooth hand” (Ace is worth 11):

W. Estratégias para Blackjack 2

Meaning of the words contained in the graph:

Stand: means that you must maintain this game, without taking any further action.

Advanced strategies for when you get a “tough hand” (Ace is worth 1):

W. Estratégias para Blackjack 3

Meaning of the words contained in the graph:

Stand: means that you must maintain this game, without taking any further action.

The Blackjack vocabulary is quite extensive and some terms are unique to the game. Both in bookmakers and in casinos you will find them. Therefore, in addition to the subtitles in which we explain the terms of the graphs, we will show some of these other terms, both out of curiosity and also to apply the strategy correctly:

Surrender: surrender, give up the round. Better to lose half your bet than to try to win with a weak hand and lose everything.

Insurance: this is a type of strategy where you “buy” insurance. If the dealer makes a Blackjack, you lose only half your bet.

Hard Hand
: when the Ace in the hand has a value of 1 (one). We have given examples of a hard hand.

Soft Hand: when the Ace has a value of 11, but if it exceeds the limit it will be worth 1. In the articles we use a soft hand to exemplify.

Stiff: a hand that has a good chance of breaking through the game barrier, bursting.
